Matt Brannon

Born and raised in Muhlenberg County, Matt Brannon has called Owensboro home for the past 25 years. A 1997 graduate of Muhlenberg North High School, Matt excelled in football and baseball, earning a football scholarship to play for Kentucky Wesleyan College.

After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Physical Education and a Master’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Education Administration, “Coach Brannon” has been a staple at Daviess County High School for the past 20 years.  With numerous roles in the building, Matt is most known for his tenure as the head football coach of Daviess County High School, where he has held this position since 2015.

Matt’s focus and core beliefs are deeply rooted in faith and hard work.  He has helped thousands of young men and women build a foundation to become successful. His experience with teaching and fostering caring relationships is the same rock that his real estate business stands upon.

Although he continues to teach and coach, clients who work with Matt quickly learn that he is highly dedicated to creating successful and profitable opportunities. Organization and time management have helped Matt become one of the most successful coaches in the history of Daviess County, and his commitment to excellence is the cornerstone of every business relationship established.

With the pursuit of success in every endeavor being a high priority, the most important part of Matt’s life is his relationship with Jesus Christ and his family. Husband to Megan for 17 years and father to two beautiful daughters, Maddie and Morgan, time spent with “his girls” is the only hobby he needs!
